Debris fell on vehicles parked in the parking lot, 3 cars damaged
Chamoli. Once again rains have started wreaking havoc in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand. Due to the continuous rains, the mountains are breaking and falling on the roads. Many roads are closed. Due to which essential goods are not reaching in the rural areas. The villages have been cut off from the district headquarters. Meanwhile, a frightening picture has come from Gopeshwar in Chamoli. Due to the rain since last night here, debris fell on vehicles parked in the parking lot in Negwad locality. Three cars were buried under the debris, due to which all three vehicles were badly damaged. The police patrol party informed the local people about the debris coming, on which people reached the spot. Thankfully, this incident happened in the morning, due to which people were not present there. Birhi Nizmula Motorway in the district is also closed near Kali Pahari. There is a lot of debris accumulated on the road. Due to the closure of the road, movement in 17 villages has come to a standstill, people are upset and are waiting for the road to open. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has given worrying information. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no relief from the rain. Heavy rains will continue in the state till July 2. During this, there is a possibility of heavy rains in Dehradun, Nainital, Champawat, Tehri, Pauri, Haridwar, Bageshwar and Pithoragarh. With intermittent rains lashing various parts of the state, road closures also continued. Landslides were reported at many places amid light to moderate rains on Wednesday.
