Deadly attack on wife with a hanger, husband arrested in half murder case

Raigarh. Aman Yadav (age 22 years), resident of village Jhalmala, filed an application at Jutmil police station yesterday, registering a report of his father Rohit Yadav (age 49 years) causing injury to his mother Durga Yadav by beating her with a leg over a domestic dispute. Is. Reporter Aman Yadav came to the police station and told TI Mohan Bhardwaj that on April 17, at around 12:00 pm, there was a fight between his mother Durga Yadav and father Rohit Yadav over a domestic matter, in which his father Rohit attacked his mother Durga Yadav. The mother was attacked with an upper leg which caused injury to her neck. Ahita Durga Yadav has been admitted to Medical College Raigarh for treatment.

The police station in-charge sent a report to the Executive Magistrate regarding Aahita’s dying declaration, consulted the doctor about Aahita’s health and filed FIR against the accused Rohit Yadav. 194/2024, an offense has been registered under section 307 IPC and the accused has been immediately taken into custody. The accused accepted the incident and presented the ‘tangi’ used in the incident in his memorandum, which was duly confiscated. Accused Rohit Yadav has been arrested by Jutmil police today and sent on remand. Police station in-charge Jute Mill Inspector Mohan Bhardwaj, Sub Inspector Amritlal Sahu and constables Lakheshwar Purseth and Shashibhushan Sahu have played a special role in arresting the accused.
