Dead body of missing woman found hanging, she was accused of killing her son

Korba. A few days ago, two and a half year old innocent Shiva Chauhan was brutally murdered by slitting his throat in Kharmora forest in the district. This incident created a stir in the entire area. The mother of the deceased child was missing after the incident. Whose decomposed body was found hanging from a tree today.

As soon as information about the matter was received, the police reached the spot. Police established the investigation and took the body of the woman into their custody and sent the body for post-mortem. This matter is of Civil Line police station area. The body of the mother of the deceased child was found above the Manikpur Pokhri dumping yard in Manikpur Chowki area.

On receiving information about the discovery of the woman’s dead body, police officers and employees reached the spot and started investigation. In this case, the police say that the woman also died on the same day when the child was murdered (21st February). Police have recovered the woman’s slippers from the incident site. Prima facie the cause of death is being said to be suicide. The real cause of death will be revealed only after the PM report.
