Dead body of female tattoo artist found, waiter suspected of murder

Maharashtra: 26-year-old female tattoo artist from Assam had reached Akola in Maharashtra. She was preparing to settle in Mumbai. She had reached Akola to meet her boyfriend, where she was found dead. Several injury marks have been found on her head. Police suspect that the tattoo artist was murdered by her boyfriend, whom she had met on social media. Police said that the boyfriend of the female tattoo artist is absconding. He is being searched.

According to the agency, the officer of Murtijapur City Police Station said that the tattoo artist named Shantipriya Kashyap alias Koyal was a resident of Assam. She was found dead in a house in Pratik Nagar area on July 24. There were sharp weapon wounds on her body. Her boyfriend 30-year-old Kunal alias Sunny Shringare lived with her. Shringare is the main suspect and he is absconding.

Shantipriya, a resident of Assam, was living with her mother for six years. She was a tattoo artist. She was working in Mumbai for a few months. Investigation so far has revealed that Kashyap and Shringare had become friends through social media. The youth had called Shantipriya to Murtijapur town. The girl arrived on July 21 and started living with Shringare at his house. Shringare was a waiter at a local bar. He was living alone.
