Dead body found in vegetable garden, relatives of the deceased in shock

Korba. The dead body of an unknown person was found hanging in the courtyard behind a person’s house in Durpa Road under Kotwali police station area of Korba city. People nearby informed the Kotwali police and dial 112. Police have sent the body for post-mortem after Panchnama. Police have started investigating whether an unknown person has been murdered or committed suicide.

According to the information, there is a fence behind the house of Sitaram Shah, resident of Durpa Road. On Monday evening, Sitaram Shah’s wife, who had gone for some work in the backyard behind the house, screamed when she saw an unknown person hanging from a nylon rope on a Behi tree. She ran out and told the people nearby.

On information, Kotwali police reached the spot. It is being told that for security, a boundary wall has been built in the courtyard behind Sitaram Shah’s house, the height of which is low. The railway line of Gevra Road-Champa railway section is laid behind it.
