DA case against TSSPDCL engineer

Hyderabad: TSSPDCL assistant engineer, operations, Keesra, Sanku Anil Kumar acquired illegal assets worth Rs 1.76 crore. ACB officials registered a case of disproportionate assets (DA) against the accused officer.

ACB officials on Wednesday raided the residence of accused officer Anil Kumar and unearthed his alleged illegal assets. During the search, ACB officials found that accused officer Anil Kumar had six housing plots in Hyderabad, 4.5 acres of agricultural land, Rs 34 lakh in cash. The search revealed that the accused officer had movable and immovable assets worth Rs 1.76 crore in market value.
Earlier, the ACB had caught accused officer Anil Kumar red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 12,000 for seeking official favor from complainant Bala Narasimha, an electricity contractor. After the arrest, the accused officer is suspended from the government.
