CRPF DG at Bijapur IED blast site
Bijapur. Naxalites blew up a vehicle full of soldiers by IED blast in Ambeli on Kutru-Bedre road of Bijapur on Monday, due to which 8 soldiers and driver of Dantewada DRG were martyred. CRPF DG Vitul Kumar has reached Ambeli today. DG is taking every information about the incident from the officials.
CRPF DG Vitul Kumar is taking stock of all the things like where the mistake happened, how far the wire was laid. Bastar IG P. Sundarraj, DIG Kamalochan Kashyap, SP Dr. Jitendra Yadav and senior police officers of the district are present on the spot.
Let us tell you that the explosion was so terrible that the bodies of the martyred soldiers were divided into many pieces, while the Scorpio full of soldiers was blown to pieces and the parts of the vehicle jumped about 40 feet up and hung on the tree. From this it can be understood that the Naxalites carried out the incident on a large scale.
