Rajasthan. People are facing problems due to dense fog in Rajasthan. In many areas the sun is visible till around 11 o’clock. There is fog in many places in the morning and at night. Due to dense fog, drivers are also facing difficulty in visibility and in such a situation they are taking help of the headlights of the vehicle. According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog has been recorded in some parts of Jaipur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Bharatpur and Kota divisions. Due to fog, the maximum temperature is falling by 3-8 degrees. Cold wave has been recorded in Sikar and Bikaner.

According to the Meteorological Department, there may be dense fog conditions in many areas of Rajasthan for the next 2 to 3 days. Also, the Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of a new western disturbance becoming active from January 7. There may be rain in Udaipur, Kota division on 7 January. Apart from this, there may be light rain/mawath in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, Bikaner, Bharatpur divisions on 8th and 9th January. During this period, hailstorm may also occur at some places. According to farmers, Mawath rain is very important for wheat. Due to drop in temperature due to dew, the stunted growth of crops will increase. With the change in weather and decrease in temperature, a wave of happiness has spread on the faces of the farmers. Rabi crops will benefit greatly from the drop in temperatures and the onset of winter.

The lowest maximum temperature was recorded at 12.5 (7.4 degrees below average) degrees in Sriganganagar in western Rajasthan. Whereas Pilani in East Rajasthan recorded 12.9 (8.5 degrees below average) degrees. Recently the temperature went to minus in Mount Abu, Rajasthan. Due to this, snow is also accumulating on the vehicles. People are seen warming their hands and wrapped in warm clothes. The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of a new western disturbance becoming active from January 7. Let us tell you that the bone-chilling winter has started in many cities of Rajasthan. Due to this, dense fog is also being recorded at many places. Now a period of bone-chilling cold is going on in the valleys of Rajasthan.
