Criminals entered the businessman’s house and tried to rob him at knife point

Korba. On Saturday, a miscreant entered the house in broad daylight and tried to rob the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law. He started demanding money by keeping a knife on the neck of the women. But the police reached the spot and caught the miscreant. The knife used in the crime has been confiscated from him. This incident is from RP Nagar Phase Two of Civil Line Police Station area.
According to the information, Neeraj Bhojasia (41) has a computer shop in Niharika. In the afternoon, his wife Sangeeta (37) and mother-in-law Premlata (56) were present at home. Then a young man opened the main gate and entered the room. He started demanding money by keeping a knife on the neck of Premlata who was talking on the mobile. He was demanding money by telling that his son was ill. Seeing the frightened mother-in-law, the daughter-in-law came out and started protesting.
After this, the miscreant also put a knife on her neck. During this time Premlata’s mobile was on. The family suspected something untoward and informed the police. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The police entered the house and caught the accused from behind. Meanwhile, the daughter-in-law’s finger got injured while defending herself. The arrested accused has been identified as Rajesh Banjare, a resident of Nabhantha, Kharsia. It is being told that many cases have been registered against him earlier as well. Korba CSP Bhushan Ekka said that the accused has been caught and further action is being taken.
