Crime News: After murdering wife, body was hanged from fan, accused arrested

Gurugram. In Gurugram, Haryana, the husband killed his wife due to suspicion on her character. He first strangled his wife, then hung the body on the fan to make it look like a suicide. After this, he himself called the police. The police have arrested the accused husband. The accused has been identified as Satish, a resident of Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh. On June 10, Sector 40 police station received information that a woman named Reena had committed suicide by hanging herself in Indira Awas Colony. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. Where the deceased’s husband Satish Kumar and her 2 children were found.

The police took the body into custody and started investigation. During the investigation, the police found the case suspicious. On this, the police contacted the relatives of the deceased. After this, on June 11, the deceased’s brother Sudama complained to the police. Sudama told that he is a resident of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. His sister Reena was married to Satish about 12 years ago. The sister lived with her husband Satish and 2 children in Indira Awas Colony, village Silokhara. Satish used to beat his sister since marriage.

Sudama told that when he came to know that his sister had died, he reached her house. When he inquired on his own, it was revealed that Satish beat his sister at 1 o’clock in the night of 9-10 June. After this, he killed Reena by strangulating her. When the police took action and interrogated the deceased’s husband thoroughly, he revealed that he had killed his wife. During interrogation, the accused told that he had doubts about his wife’s character. This is why there was a fight between them. After committing the murder, to escape from the police, he tied the body with a dupatta and hung it from the fan and called the police and informed them that his wife had committed suicide by hanging herself. At present, the accused has been arrested and further investigation is going on.
