Crime Branch reprimanded more than 65 knife attackers and history sheeters and paraded them

Raipur. In view of the upcoming elections including prevention of crimes, keeping a check on criminals, maintaining security and peace, as per the instructions of Deputy Inspector General of Police and Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh, under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police Crime Sandeep Mittal and In-charge Anti Crime and Cyber Unit Inspector Paresh Kumar Pandey, more than 65 knife attackers, history sheeters and criminal elements residing in different police station areas were presented in the Crime Branch today on 08.02.25 by the team of Crime Branch.
The Deputy Inspector General of Police and Senior Superintendent of Police themselves took a parade of knife attackers, history sheeters and criminal elements and strictly instructed them not to get involved in any kind of crime and were also asked to give information to the police about their associates who are involved in crimes. They were asked to attend their respective police stations every week and live peacefully with their families by staying away from crime and to appear immediately whenever the police calls them to do so. They were asked to immediately inform the police in case of any small or big incident around their residential areas and to cooperate with the police in maintaining security, peace and law and order in the area in view of the upcoming elections.
Along with this, those who have created their IDs with various names like goonda, don, mafia, gangster etc. on various platforms of social media and uploaded photos, videos and reels with knives, swords, air guns, pistol-like lighter guns and other weapons in their hands and uploaded them on their Instagram IDs were also strictly instructed not to repeat such incidents and not to be involved in any kind of crimes. Also, the IDs of such people are being deleted by the cyber cell team.
So far, a total of over 400 knife attackers, history-sheeters and criminal elements have been presented before the Crime Branch and have been given strict warning.
