Crackers found in a daily needs shop, SDM raids
On the instructions of the Collector, a raid was conducted on illegal firecracker warehouses in Takhatpur under the leadership of Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Jyoti Patel. This action was taken in 5 warehouses of Mission Hospital Compound and Old Nagar Palika Complex, where a huge amount of illegal firecrackers were stored under the guise of a daily needs shop. chhattisgarh news
On receiving the complaint, during the inspection, the team found that a food item and daily needs shop was being run on the lower floor, while 103 cartons of firecrackers were illegally stored on the upper floor. When the documents were demanded, no valid papers were presented by the operator, after which action was taken to seize and seal the firecrackers.
In view of the upcoming festivals, food items were also checked, in which moldy rasgullas with expired date were found kept for sale from Vasudev Stores. During the investigation of other food items, expired material was also found, due to which Vasudev Stores was sealed.
