Cow dies due to tiger attack, forest department on alert in Khairagarh

Khairagarh. A tiger has hunted cattle in the Bhave-Malaida forest in the interior area of the district. The tiger is constantly moving in this area. Different teams of the forest department are keeping an eye on every movement of the tiger. Khairagarh DFO Alok Tiwari has confirmed that the tiger has hunted cattle. He says that the tiger is present in the district.
It is being told that this tiger was also present in the Dongargarh forest area recently. Since then, it is continuously moving in the forest. It is believed that the tiger has entered the forest of the district from Kanha Kisli National Park. It is looking for a way back by making a corridor. Forest officers believe that special monitoring is being done for the safety of the tiger. The tiger is also in danger from hunters.
It is being told that the forest officers are not making the location of the tiger public, but it is clear that it is continuously moving forward in the forest. The forests of Malaida and Bhave are quite dense. The forest staff has also made announcements in the interior villages. People are being advised to be cautious while travelling.
