Court sentenced 10 years, rape accused sent to jail

Bhanupratappur / Kanker. In the rape case, the court sentenced the accused youth to 10 years imprisonment. From 2017 to October 2020, the accused was raping a minor girl by luring her for marriage. Its report was registered at Bhanupratappur police station. After this the matter was going on in the court. On Friday, Bhanupratappur Additional Sessions Judge GK Neelam, finding the charges proved, sentenced Chhatrapal Kallo, aged 26, a resident of Shankar Nagar of Bhanupratappur, to 10 years of imprisonment with a fine of Rs 10,000. After this decision, the police sent the youth to jail.
