Court employee murdered in broad daylight by firing several bullets

Siwan: Criminals shot and killed a court employee in broad daylight on Wednesday near Chotpur village of Mufassil police station area of ​​Siwan. The deceased is Rajesh Kumar alias Golden, son of late Naval Manjhi, a resident of Mahadeva Mission of Mahadeva police station area. He was posted as a fourth class employee in the court of ADJ 1 in the court. Regarding the incident, the family members said that Rakesh’s sister Aarti had an examination in B.Ed. College located in Amlori. Rakesh had gone to drop his sister at the examination center. While returning after dropping her at the examination center, the criminals shot four-five bullets from behind near Chotpur village at around 2 pm, due to which he died.

Here, after being shot, Rakesh fell into a roadside ditch, the local people, suspecting a road accident, pulled him out of the ditch and admitted him to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Where the doctors declared him dead. As soon as the family of the deceased got the information about the incident, the family and the local people gathered at the Sadar Hospital and the family started crying loudly. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took the body in their custody, got the postmortem done and handed it over to the family and started investigating the firing incident.

On the other hand, people angry with the firing incident started protesting by blocking the road in front of Sadar Hospital. A lot of effort was made to convince the people but they did not listen. This road block and protest continued till evening. Due to the road blockage, long queues of vehicles were formed on both sides. After which efforts were made to pacify the angry people and the family agreed. After which the body was handed over to the family after postmortem. As soon as his body reached Mahadeva Mission Mohalla late on Wednesday evening, people started crying loudly.
