Corona case active in Chhattisgarh, possibility of lockdown soon

Raipur. Three patients infected with the new variant of Corona have been found in Raipur, Bilaspur and Kanker. In view of the alert issued by the Central Health Department, CM Vishnudev Sai reviewed the situation with the health staff this afternoon. A meeting of Collectors, Municipal Corporation officers and Chief Medical Officers of all the districts was held through video conferencing at 4 pm. In this, a review was done regarding the precautions taken regarding Corona virus in the state. According to sources, if the pace of Corona continues to increase in India and Chhattisgarh, the government may have to take drastic steps like lockdown soon.

Although Covid is under control in the state, there is no need to panic unnecessarily, but it is necessary to take precautions. Follow the previously issued Covid related guidelines and Covid appropriate behavior like wearing a mask, washing hands with soap, using sanitizer, adopting social distancing, maintaining distance from people with possible symptoms, etc. In case of cold, cough, fever or difficulty in breathing, people have been requested to visit the nearest health centres, community health centres, district hospitals and get tested and treated.
