After hearing the case, the Mohali District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (Consumer Forum) ruled in her favor and ordered the payment of ₹50,000 in compensation. The Commission acknowledged that the consumer had endured unnecessary mental agony and inconvenience.
According to the case details, the woman reported multiple technical problems with the vehicle shortly after purchasing the new Tata Nexon. It was alleged that despite repeated visits to the service center, the defects could not be fully rectified, causing her continuous trouble. Consequently, she approached the Consumer Commission.
