Constable becomes victim of hit and run

Pune: Hit and run cases are increasing continuously in Maharashtra. The latest case has come to light from Pune. A constable of Pune Police Force died in a hit and run case at midnight while another is seriously injured. The accident took place at 2 am under Harris Bridge on Old Pune-Mumbai Highway.

Two police constables working as beat marshals at Khadki Police Station were riding their two-wheeler for night patrolling, when a speeding four wheeler hit them. During this, Constable Samadhan Koli died. After the accident, the driver fled with the vehicle.

According to the news, the beat marshals were on patrol at night. Meanwhile, a four wheeler hit both of them from behind. Policeman Samadhan Koli died in this. Police constable Shinde has been admitted to the hospital. After the accident, the accused driver fled. The police have started searching for the car on the basis of CCTV. Let us tell you that a few days ago in Pune, a minor hit a boy and a girl riding a bike with his Porsche car, in which both of them died. The boy and the girl worked in an IT company in Pune. An accident also took place on the Andheri East flyover on the morning of 29 June.

Vivek Yadav and Aman Yadav, who study in BMS second year, were passing through the flyover in Andheri, during which a speeding pickup hit both the students near Gundavali Metro Station. Due to the collision, Vivek fell down from the flyover and died and Aman was seriously injured. The police arrested the accused pickup driver from Parel.
