Congress’s demonstration against Modi government in Raipur

Raipur. Congress is protesting nationwide against the Modi government regarding the action of suspension of MPs in Parliament. At the same time, demonstrations are also taking place in 33 district headquarters of Chhattisgarh. Apart from this, Congressmen are also protesting for a day in front of Subhash Stadium at Rajiv Gandhi Chowk in the capital Raipur.

A large number of Congress workers including PCC Chief Deepak Baij, Raipur City President Girish Dubey have participated in this demonstration. State in-charge Kumari Shailaja will also join the protest in some time. On Thursday, the Lok Sabha Speaker suspended Congress MPs Nakul Nath, DK Suresh and Deepak Baij from the winter session for contempt of the House. With this the number of suspended MPs has increased to 146. Of these, a total of 100 MPs are from Lok Sabha.
