Congress will hold a Save Constitution rally in Bilaspur on May 8
Raipur. On the instructions of the All India Congress Committee, Congress is running the Save Constitution campaign across the country. In Chhattisgarh, it will start from Bilaspur. On May 8, there will be a Save Constitution rally in Bilaspur, after which Save Constitution rallies will be taken out in all the district headquarters and assembly constituencies. After the district and assembly, Congress will take the Save Constitution campaign to every house.
To prepare for the Save Constitution rally to be held in Bilaspur, State Congress President Deepak Baij and AICC Co-Secretary and State Co-Incharge Vijay Jangid held a meeting of the officials and MLAs of Bilaspur division. Former minister Umesh Patel has been made the Congress convener for the rally of Bilaspur division. In the meeting, State Congress President Deepak Baij said that Congress will take the Save Constitution campaign to every house. He said that the objective of the Save Constitution campaign is to counter the continuous attacks on the Constitution and democratic institutions by the Modi government, politics of revenge, economic mismanagement and systemic violation of social justice. This campaign will raise the voice of the common citizen, highlight the concerns at the grassroots level and re-emphasize the values enshrined in our Constitution. AICC Joint Secretary and Co-in-Charge Vijay Jangid said that through this campaign we are united to protect the Constitution, maintain the values of freedom, equality and justice and fight for the rights, dignity and future of Indians. We will remain firm in our fight for the poor of this country, advocate for their rights and raise their voice.
