Congress Party Distributes Sarees to Women in Vemulawada

There is no festival right now, but there is a festival of votes, that is why the Congress leaders remembered women. They did not promise Rs 2500, but after all the festivals were over, they started giving sarees to appease the women voters. It is noteworthy that the Congress leaders organized official programs within the limits of the Vemulawada Municipal Corporation.

Congress Party District Vice President Sangaswamy along with some other leaders took up a saree distribution program for women at the municipal office in Shatrajpalli under the Vemulawada Municipal Corporation on Wednesday. Opposition leaders are alleging that Congress leaders misused their power by directly distributing sarees even though officials were supposed to participate in an official government program.

He criticized the Congress leaders for remembering their election promises only after the elections and saying that they should show honesty by providing Rs. 2500 as salary, scooters to students and Rs. 500 as gas subsidy. He is preparing to complain to the district collector about the way Congress leaders are organizing official programs without government officials.
