Nidhi Chandak, Senior Professor, Interior Design Department at Raipur-based DSIFD Institute, shared in an interview that interior designing is not just about decorating a house or place. It is an art form that is related to science and technology. Apart from beauty and functionality in interior design, it is also important to give a personal touch. Currently, job offers in interior design are very high. From designing apartments and bungalows to public spaces, offices, restaurants, cafes, hotels and more, there are many possibilities. The expert further said that there is no age barrier for studying and learning or wanting to become a designer.
If you want to enroll in a course, the minimum requirement for you is that you have completed class 10. After that, you can enroll in the course. If you want to do a course, you can get a job in many places. In fact, one can also start their own business. You can also venture into beauty, logo design and graphic design stores. If someone wants to do a course in DSIFD, experts say that this institute has different grades and duration for a course. There is a one-year course which costs Rs 70,000. Then there is a 2-year course, which costs Rs 1.40 lakh. A 3-year degree course is offered for Rs 2.70 lakh. The fee for a three-year course is Rs 90,000 per year.
