Buldhana: Uddhav Thackeray faction-led Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut often makes loud statements. Many times he has had to face controversies regarding this. Now he has given a controversial statement on PM Narendra Modi and compared him with Aurangzeb. Addressing a program in Buldhana, Maharashtra, Sanjay Raut said that Aurangzeb was born near PM Narendra Modi’s village. That’s why PM Modi’s thinking is like Aurangzeb. He said that Maharashtra is being attacked under this thinking. When Sanjay Raut was making this comment about PM Modi, Uddhav Thackeray was also present on the stage.

Sanjay Raut has made this comment amid speculations about Raj Thackeray joining BJP. It is believed that due to this incident there is a situation of turmoil in the Uddhav Thackeray faction. Sanjay Raut said that Shivaji is born in Maharashtra and Aurangzeb is born in Gujarat. Raut said, ‘Aurangzeb was born near the place where Narendra Modi was born. That is why we are attacked with the mentality of Aurangzeb.
Even before this, Sanjay Raut has given controversial statements many times. He had also said in an interview that Aurangzeb was born in Gujarat and Shivaji Maharaj was born in Maharashtra. It is noteworthy that in the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, BJP and Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena had contested the elections together and won.

After this, differences arose between the two parties regarding the post of CM and Uddhav Thackeray formed the government with Congress and NCP. He himself became its head. But in June 2022, there was a rebellion in his party and 40 MLAs rebelled under the leadership of Eknath Shinde. Then Shinde became CM with the support of BJP. In this way, Shiv Sena also lost power from Uddhav Thackeray’s hands and power was no longer there.
