Company’s 2.5 lakh embezzled, 3 employees arrested

Janjgir-Champa. Police has arrested three accused who embezzled lakhs of rupees of loan installment in the district. Action has been taken against the accused under crime number 754/24 section 409,34 IPC and they have been sent on judicial remand.

According to the information, Nirupati Banjara, manager of Spandan Isfurti Finance Limited Janjgir, had lodged a report that the employee previously working in Isfurti Finance Bank has embezzled the loan installment amount of the bank’s customers, totaling Rs 2,74,240/-, by not depositing it in the bank.

After which, on the orders of the Hon’ble Court, a case was registered against the accused and the matter was investigated. During this, the accused Jitendra Kumar Patel and Ashish Chauhan were taken into police custody on 03.10.2024 and interrogated, in which both the accused confessed to the crime. After this, the police arrested the accused and sent them on judicial remand. The third accused Suraj Chauhan was also traced and arrested on 4 October and interrogated in the case. After confessing to the crime, he has also been arrested and sent to judicial remand.
