Collector’s order shocked many principals
Janjgir. Collector has started Utkrisht Janjgir Abhiyan to improve the quality of education in government schools but the school principals are leaving no stone unturned to fail it. Action has been taken against 9 such principals. They have been removed from the post and the responsibility of principal has been handed over to other teachers.
The collector has taken this action on the basis of review of quarterly results in three blocks. Five principals are from Bamhnidih block, three from Navagarh and one from Pamgarh. Block level review meeting was held on 8 and 9 November under Utkrisht Janjgir Abhiyan to improve the board exam results.
In the meeting, the charge of the in-charge principals has been changed due to the low level of monthly and quarterly exam results. They include Fagulal Sahu, Santosh Singh Raj, Bharatlal Karsh, BL Kashyap, Arun Kumar Tiwari, in-charge principals of government higher secondary schools of Bamhnidih block. Similarly, the names of Chandrapal Singh Rathore, Dev Singh Digskar, Madhav Shankar Kamal are included in Navagarh. Sant Kumar Singh has been removed from the post of in-charge principal in Pamgarh block.
