Collector Vinay Langeh stressed on the quality of education

Mahasamund. Mahasamund. With the aim of making education a mass movement across the state and connecting every child to school, Shala Pravesh Utsav 2025 was launched today on 16 June 2025. On this occasion, a special program of Praveshotsav was organized in PM Brijraj Primary School of Mahasamund district, in which Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh attended as the chief guest. District Panchayat Chief Executive Officer S. Alok, District Mission Coordinator Rekharaj Sharma and officials of School Education Department were present with him.

During Shala Praveshotsav, Collector Mr. Langeh had a cordial conversation with the newly admitted students and encouraged them for a new beginning of school life. He said that Shala Pravesh Utsav is not only an opportunity for enrollment, but it is the first step towards the bright future of every child. He said that it is the responsibility of all of us to ensure that quality education reaches every child. Collector Mr. Langeh called upon teachers and parents to take a pledge to provide quality education to the children. The collector also directed that no child should be deprived of the mid-day meal scheme, and the process of uniform distribution should be completed with complete transparency. There was a festive atmosphere in the school premises regarding this event. The smiles of the children, colorful balloons and students dressed in traditional costumes turned this day into an educational festival.

District Panchayat CEO S Alok said that the first day of school is always memorable. To make this day special and to motivate the children, school entrance festival is organized. Parents also get to know that now the children will go to school, so they start preparing for it. He said that the government is putting a lot of emphasis on the educational quality of children. District Mission Coordinator Rekharaj Sharma congratulated all the children and parents and said that all parents should send their children to school. No child should be deprived of going to school.

Head teacher Gomti Sahu said that a total of 198 children are enrolled at the primary level and 120 in the middle school. On this occasion, the school premises were specially decorated so that children and parents feel a welcoming atmosphere. Newly admitted children like Gagan Sinha, Dimple Yadav, Ishan Sahu, Rupali Sahu and Yadaram Sahu took selfies to make their first school day memorable and celebrated the beginning of school life with each other. At the end of the program, the officials appealed to the members of the School Development Committee and all the parents to become a part of this great campaign of education and connect every child around them to the school, so that no child is deprived of the right to education. The school admission festival will be celebrated with enthusiasm and energy in various schools of the district for a week. During this, the collector also inspected the school and gave necessary instructions.
