Coal businessman murdered in Dhanbad, criminals entered his office and opened fire

Dhanbad (IANS) | Another businessman has been shot dead in Dhanbad. The incident took place in Chasnala South Colony under Pathardih police station area of Jharia, where two bike-borne criminals entered and killed coal businessman and transporter Praveen Rai in his office. Hearing the sound of firing, the people around ran and while running, the criminals also shot another businessman, Rajkishore Singh. He has been admitted to the hospital in an injured condition. As soon as the information about this incident came, people got angry. They put Praveen Rai’s dead body on the Jharia-Sindri road and blocked it.

It was told that Praveen Rai was sitting in his office as usual when two people who came on a bike pushed the door and entered inside and shot him twice. The first bullet hit his head and the second one below the eye. They fell down. A stampede-like situation broke out on hearing the sound of gunfire. Nearby shopkeepers started closing their shops. Some people ran towards Praveen Rai’s office. Meanwhile, a hotel businessman was also shot by the criminals.

Immediately the local people took the bleeding Praveen Rai and Rajkishore Singh to Chasnala Health Center, where the doctor declared Praveen Rai dead. After getting information about the incident, the police of Pathardih, Sudamdih and Bhaura police stations of Dhanbad reached the spot. The police explained to the people who were blocking the road with the dead body. At present the blockade has been lifted, but panic is prevailing in the area.

It is not known which criminal gang killed Praveen Rai. The police claim that the criminals will be arrested soon.
