CM Yogi said- Khalsa Panth was the reason for the decline of Mughal Empire.

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday extended hearty greetings to the residents of the state on the auspicious occasion of celebrating the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh as ‘Prakash Parv’. , He said that the establishment of ‘Khalsa Panth’ led to the decline of the Mughal Empire.

CM Yogi said that Guru Gobind Singh was an enlightened person, whose arrival on this earth had a definite purpose. He said, “With the Prakash Utsav of Guru Maharaj, the entire country is coming together to pay homage to his memories and gain new inspiration.” Addressing the Prakash Parv program organized at DAV Degree College, the Chief Minister said that Guru Tegh Bahadur initiated a series of sacrifices for the establishment of truth and justice in his era, the tradition of which was carried forward by Guru Gobind Singh.

His four sons, Sahibzada Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, Zorawar Singh and Fateh Singh made supreme sacrifice for religion and country. He further said, “The example set by Guru Gobind Singh Ji at that time inspires all of us.”

Paying tribute to Guru Gobind Singh, the Chief Minister said that it happens very rarely in history that several generations sacrifice their lives for the protection of the country and religion. “It is our good fortune that the demand for Veer Bal Diwas in memory of the sacrifices of Sahibzadas was initiated by the Lucknow Gurdwara Management Committee in 2018-19. The first kirtan program took place at the Chief Minister’s residence, leading to the launch of national level Veer Bal Diwas celebrations in 2022,” he informed.

“At present, Sahibzaade of Guru Gobind Singh Ji has become an inspiration for the youth in India. Even at the age of seven and nine, Sahibzade remained steadfast in his commitment to country and religion. Imagine the strong foundation of the Sikh community.” He added.
The Chief Minister said that wherever Sikhs are, they are known for their hard work, dedication and service.

“Uttar Pradesh is home to many historically important Gurudwaras due to the arrival of Sikh Gurus at various places in the state. It is our responsibility to preserve and maintain them, as they will guide future generations. Guru Gobind Singh can empower us to contribute.” Develop the country and society by following the path shown by him”, the Chief Minister further said.
During the program, the Chief Minister was welcomed and felicitated by the Lucknow Gurdwara Management Committee. On this occasion, he also honored six children of Khalsa Inter College who won gold and silver medals in the National Games.

Rajendra Singh Bagga, Satpal Singh, Sardar Parvinder Singh Titu, BJP Lucknow Metropolitan President Anand Dwivedi and Minority Commission member Sardar Parvinder Singh were present in the program.
