Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that all necessary arrangements have been made by the state government for the pilgrims going on pilgrimage to Hemkund Sahib. Last year more than 50 lakh devotees visited Chardham Yatra. Even more devotees are expected to come for Chardham Yatra this year. The Chief Minister said that it is the endeavor of the state government that all possible arrangements have been made to ensure that the devotees coming to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand do not face any kind of trouble.

Expressing gratitude to the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for laying the foundation stone of the ropeway for Shri Kedarnath and Shri Hemkund Sahib, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that with the construction of these two ropeways, the journey will be smooth and easy. After the commencement of the Karnprayag-Rishikesh rail line, the journey to Hemkund Sahib will be more convenient.
