CM Dhami made a courtesy call on PM Narendra Modi, discussed about the development of Uttarakhand

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi and expressed his gratitude to the Government of India for extending extensive cooperation for various literary projects and capital projects, including the approval of the Jamrani Dam project for the development of the state. Chief Minister Dhami discussed various issues related to the development of the state with the Prime Minister in the meeting which lasted for about an hour and sought his guidance. He also invited the Prime Minister for #CharDhamYatra, Adi Kailash and Mayawati Ashram at Lohaghat. During the meeting, the Chief Minister apprised the Prime Minister about the ongoing relief and displacement works for the victims of landslides in Joshimath area and said that an economic package of ₹ 2942.99 crore is needed for landslides and landslides.

The Chief Minister requested the Prime Minister to get the financial approval of the Jamrani Dam Multipurpose Project from the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, and also urged to start the Vande Bharat Rail service from Haridwar to Varanasi. The Chief Minister also requested to issue the minimum support price for Jhangora, Ramdana and Kakuni, as well as grant permission for the use of true seeds of Gahat and Kala Bhat crops under the National Food Security and Nutrition Mission, pulses and oilseeds. The Chief Minister said that under the National Beekeeping and Honey Mission Scheme (NBHM), a proposal of ₹ 249.529 crore has been sent to the Central Government, in which a total grant of ₹ 203.391 crore is expected from the Central Government. The Chief Minister also requested the Prime Minister to direct the concerned to operate air services at Naini Saini Airport in Pithoragarh and transfer the airport to the Indian Air Force (Ministry of Defence) in view of the expansion of the airport.
