CM Dhami celebrated Uttarakhand’s folk festival Phuldei with his family

Dehradun: Uttarakhand is also called Devbhoomi. Here on Thursday, folk festival Phuldei is being celebrated with great pomp. In this festival, children place flowers and rice at the threshold of others’ houses and then sing traditional songs. After this the elders and elders bless the children. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also celebrated this folk festival at his residence on Thursday and wished the people of the state on Phul Dei. CM Dhami celebrated this festival with great pomp with the entire family. At the Chief Minister’s residence, children dressed in colorful clothes started the festival by spreading flowers and rice in the threshold and singing the traditional song ‘Phool Dei Chama Dei, Jatuk Dela, Utuk Sai, Phool Dei Chama Dei, Dedi Dwar Bhari Bhakar’. The Chief Minister blessed all the children and wished for their bright future. While extending hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Phul Dei festival, CM Dhami wished for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state. He said that folk festivals have special importance in our lives.
