CM campaigns vigorously to garner votes in KV Kuppam

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin took to the streets on Tuesday to campaign for votes in support of DMK candidate Dr. Rajeshwari from the K.V. Kuppam Assembly constituency.

Arriving in Vellore district on Monday night for the Assembly election campaign, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin drove from Vellore to K.V. Kuppam at 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday. Walking along Ambedkar Street near the K.V. Kuppam bus stand, the Chief Minister went door-to-door, seeking votes. People enthusiastically took selfies with him along the way.

The Chief Minister suddenly visited Jayaraj’s house, built under the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam Project, inquired about the family’s amenities and had tea there.

Following this, on the occasion of Ambedkar’s birthday, Equality Day, he garlanded the statue of Ambedkar in the street and paid tribute to him. Later, while walking along Bazaar Street, he collected votes from the public while drinking tea at a tea stall in the Marketmedu area, opposite the K.V. Kuppam police station.

The Chief Minister, who suddenly boarded a government bus passing by the bus stand, asked passengers about the benefits of the free women’s travel scheme and garnered their support.
