CM announces government jobs for top Jallikattu athletes

Tamil Nadu: Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has announced that the top athletes who capture the most cows in Tamil Nadu’s traditional Jallikattu competition will be given priority government jobs in the animal husbandry sector.
Attending the world-famous Jallikattu competition held on Saturday in Alanganallur, Madurai, on the occasion of Tamil Diwali, as a special guest, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said:
In Madurai, where Tamil developed through association, the government has built the Kalaignar Centenary Library for the development of knowledge and the Kalaignar Centenary Climbing Stadium for the bravery sport of Jallikattu.
To promote Tamil Nadu’s traditional Jallikattu competition, the best bullfighters who tame the most bulls in this competition will be given priority government jobs in the animal husbandry sector.
Similarly, a special high-quality treatment center and training center will be built for Jallikattu bulls in the world-famous Alanganallur area at a cost of ₹2 crore. These announcements will bring joy to everyone. With this joy, we as Tamils will unite and win, he said.
Earlier, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin presented prizes to some bullfighters who tamed the bulls and some of the owners of the winning bulls.
