Class 10 Public Examination: Important Instructions from the Examination Department

Tamil Nadu: The Tamil Nadu Education Department has advised that only teachers who teach classes 6th through 8th should be appointed for duty during the 10th grade public examinations.
In this regard, Director of Government Elections K. Sasikala, in a circular sent to all District Chief Education Officers and Assistant Directors of Elections, stated: The 10th grade public examination is underway from March 11th. Before the examination begins, it should be ensured that the candidates’ cover sheets for Mathematics, Science, and Social Science are stitched with the main answer sheets.
Teachers who teach the subject being examined should not be assigned to examination duty. Furthermore, only teachers who teach classes 6th through 8th should be appointed for the 10th grade public examination. It should be ensured that teachers so appointed not only teach the relevant subject but also have a good knowledge of the subject.
It states that Assistant Directors are requested to inform all Chief Supervisors to obtain and preserve sufficient quantities of the additional unlined answer sheets to be given to candidates. While the Tamil and English examinations for students appearing for the Class 10 general examination have concluded, the Mathematics examination will be held on March 25.
