Aiming to connect children with nature and raise awareness about the importance of seasonal fruits, a “Mango Party” (Aam Party) was held on the school campus. Children from both the pre-primary and primary sections participated enthusiastically and tasted various varieties of mango.

The program was inaugurated by the school’s Principal, Sanjeev Kumar Jain, by ceremonially cutting a mango. Addressing the children, he explained the nutritional and health benefits of mango. He said that mango is not called the king of fruits for nothing. It is rich in vitamins, minerals, and many essential nutrients, which play a vital role in maintaining a healthy body.

The Principal explained that mango provides instant energy during the summer season and also helps strengthen the immune system. He advised the children that consuming seasonal fruits is extremely beneficial for health and should be included in their diet.

He also discussed children’s eating habits. The Principal advised the children to avoid pizza, burgers, chips, and other junk food. He encouraged them to adopt a healthy lifestyle and consume fresh fruit daily. The children also pledged to eat healthy.

During the Mango Party, the school teachers informed the children about various delicious and healthy dishes made from mango. The teachers explained the specialties of mango shake, mango panna, mango papad, mango pudding, and other dishes. The children showed curiosity about these dishes and thoroughly enjoyed the event.

Dressed in colorful costumes, the children were delighted to taste the mangoes. The school campus was filled with laughter and excitement. The teachers played with the children and explained the connection between nature, fruits, and health.

The school management stated that the purpose of such events is not only entertainment, but also to foster health awareness and interest in natural foods among children. Such programs contribute to the overall development of children.

The entire staff, including teachers Pinky Jain, Radha, Anita, and Swati, played a significant role in making the program a success. The school family expressed gratitude to all the collaborators and pledged to continue organizing such creative and educational programs for children in the future.
