Chief Secretary reviews preparations at Khelo India venues in Chennai

Meena along with government officials visited the venues where the Games are to be held and directed the officials to arrange all necessary facilities for the athletes and visitors. During the inspection, the Chief Secretary also met the players of the state hockey team and congratulated them.

Sports Secretary Atulya Mishra, Chennai Corporation Commissioner J Radhakrishnan, SDAT Member Secretary Meganath Reddy are also the Chief Secretaries.

More than 6 thousand people to participate

The sixth edition of Khelo India Youth Games is scheduled to be held from January 19 to 31. Over 6,000 athletes are expected to participate in the events to be held at various venues in Chennai, Coimbatore, Tiruchi and Madurai.
