Dehradun. Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu took a meeting with the officials regarding the Kedarnath heli service. During the meeting, the Chief Secretary said that seeing the registration of devotees for Chardham Yatra, there is a possibility of a large number of pilgrims. He said that every possible effort should be made to ensure that the passengers have minimum problems.

The Chief Secretary said that more and more modern technology should be used in ticket booking to prevent fraud and black marketing. Also, an FIR should be lodged against the black marketeers. Along with IRCTC, he has told the need for constant monitoring by the Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority. The Chief Secretary instructed the concerned department to provide trained PRD jawans to all districts related to Chardham Yatra as per requirement. The Chief Secretary instructed to ensure 24×7 arrangements for redressal of complaints and refunds. He said that maximum awareness should be spread among the passengers to avoid fake websites and cyber frauds.

On this occasion, Director General of Police Ashok Kumar, Secretary Dilip Jawalkar and Additional Secretary Civil Aviation C. Ravi Shankar and other high officials were present.
