Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai Extends Greetings on National Science Day

Raipur, 27 February 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has extended his heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of National Science Day. He emphasized that science is the cornerstone of the human progress, driving innovation, economic growth, and societal transformation. Science not only enhances technological advancements but also fosters rational thinking, innovation, and a forward-looking mindset essential for national development.
Paying tribute to Nobel Laureate and legendary physicist, Sir Chandrasekhara Venkata Raman, Chief Minister Shri Sai highlighted his pioneering discovery, the ‘Raman Effect’, which placed India at the forefront of global scientific advancements. February 28 is observed as National Science Day every year to honor his invaluable contributions and to inspire scientific curiosity among people, particularly the youth.

Chief Minister Shri Sai emphasized that India has emerged as a global leader in science and technology, making significant contributions to diverse fields. He stressed the need to foster scientific temper, critical thinking, and technological innovation at all levels of society.
