Raipur. Chhota Rana has been caught selling heroin behind the Dhaba. Kabir Nagar police team received information that under the police station area, behind Ring Road No. 02, Kanha Dhaba, a person has kept banned drug heroin (chitta) in a black colour Activa and is trying to sell it. On which Additional Superintendent of Police West Daulat Ram Porte and City Superintendent of Police Azad Chowk Aman Kumar Jha (IPS) directed the police station in-charge Kabir Nagar to verify the information and catch the accused red handed with the drug heroin (chitta).
On which, on the instructions of senior officers, the police team of Kabir Nagar police station under the leadership of Station In-charge Kabir Nagar Deepesh Jaiswal went to the said place and caught the person of the description given by the informer, who was in a black colour Activa, who was trying to run away after seeing the police, who was surrounded and caught. On interrogation, he told his name as Taljinder Singh alias Chhota Rana father Harbag Singh age 27 years resident of Veer Savarkar Nagar Hirapur Raipur. On searching him, a banned drug Heroin (Chitta) was found wrapped in a plastic packet kept in his lower pocket. On demanding valid documents for keeping and selling the said banned drug, he was continuously trying to mislead the team members by not presenting any documents.
On which accused Taljinder Singh alias Rana was arrested and a plastic packet (pudiya) containing narcotic substance heroin (chitta) weighing 4.24 grams worth about Rs. 66,000/- and vehicle Activa No. CG-04, HY-5268 worth Rs. 15,000/- and 01 mobile worth Rs. 10,000/-, total worth Rs. 91,000/- were seized from his possession and a case number 43/25 under section- 21(B) NDPS Act was registered against the accused in Police Station Kabir Nagar and action was taken against the accused.
