Chhattisgarh: Dead body of a woman found floating in the river

Kanker news. A woman died after drowning in the strong current of Khandi river in the district. According to the information, while returning from the field, two women were swept away in the strong current of the river, in which one woman saved her life by swimming. One died. The body of the dead woman was found by divers from Kanker after a lot of hard work. The whole matter is of Bhanupratappur police station area. According to the information received, on Thursday evening, Anandrai Patel (40), a resident of Godripara village of Sambalpur and another woman were crossing the Khandi river on the way while returning from work from their field. The flow of the river was fast, in which both the women started flowing, in which another woman somehow saved her life by swimming. At the same time, Anandrai Patel drowned in the strong current, due to which she died. On receiving information about the drowning of the woman, the police tried to find the woman with the help of local people, but due to it being night, the woman could not be rescued.
