Chhattisgarh achieved a major milestone in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026, becoming the first state in the country in terms of parent participation.

Raipur. Chhattisgarh has achieved remarkable success in “Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026,” an initiative by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to celebrate exams as a stress-free festival. Chhattisgarh has set an example for the entire country by securing first place in parent participation. So far, 25.16 lakh participants from Chhattisgarh have registered, including 22.75 lakh students, 1.55 lakh teachers, and 81,533 parents. This achievement reflects the state’s well-planned efforts to improve exam management, time management, and to help parents avoid putting unnecessary pressure on their children to score high marks in exams, and to boost their self-confidence.
Chhattisgarh ranks first in the country in terms of parent participation in “Pariksha Pe Charcha.” Chhattisgarh ranks fourth nationally in terms of total registrations. 14,658 parents registered in Balodabazar district and 9,952 in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, a clear testament to the growing awareness, participation, and trust among parents in this campaign. This achievement is not just a numerical success, but also signals a positive shift in social attitudes towards exams. Innovative strategies adopted in the state have been crucial to this remarkable success. Maximum participation was ensured through district-level review meetings, on-site registrations were arranged at teacher training centers, and the community was extensively engaged through youth clubs and the “Angan Ma Shiksha Program.”
The “Pariksha Pe Charcha Mela” held in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh recorded over 10,000 registrations in a single day, compared to the previous average of around 1,500 registrations per day. Previous efforts, such as the Parent-Teacher Conference and Mega PTM, have also given new impetus to parent awareness and participation. Inspiring experiences related to the Pariksha Pe Charcha are also continuously emerging. Ms. Yuktamukhi, who participated in this program last year, shared her experiences and urged more students to register and ask their questions this year. Her inspiring message is instilling enthusiasm, confidence, and active participation in students. Similarly, in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, the “Pariksha Pe Charcha Mela” held during the winter vacation saw large participation from all schools, communities, teachers, and students, resulting in over 10,000 registrations in a single day. Inspired by this success, Pariksha Pe Charcha Melas are being organized in other districts of Chhattisgarh, and people are enthusiastically joining the campaign.
To ensure active participation of teachers in Pariksha Pe Charcha in Chhattisgarh, registration was arranged at the teacher training sites. During the training, teachers were explained the registration process in detail and assisted in registering on the spot, resulting in a large number of teachers registering. The registration process will remain open until January 11, 2026, and it is highly likely that the target of over 3 million registrations will be achieved in Chhattisgarh. It is noteworthy that “Pariksha Pe Charcha” is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s annual dialogue program, in which he directly interacts with students, teachers, and parents. This dialogue provides guidance on exam-related challenges, stress management, and self-confidence building measures. Parents are encouraged not to exert unnecessary pressure to achieve high marks, but to instead boost their children’s morale and self-confidence. This initiative has now become a mass movement, fostering widespread social awareness about celebrating exams as a celebration rather than a source of stress.
“This achievement by Chhattisgarh in Pariksha Pe Charcha 2026 is the result of the collective efforts of students, teachers, and parents across the state. Chhattisgarh has wholeheartedly embraced Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s message of celebrating exams as a celebration, not a stressor. Ranking fourth in the country in total registrations and first in parent participation is proof that parents here have also become more aware and are stepping forward to boost their children’s confidence instead of putting unnecessary pressure on them. I am confident that with this same enthusiasm, we will achieve the target of over 3 million registrations and continue to advance this campaign to make exams stress-free as a mass movement.” – Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai
