Chhatrapati Shivaji statue unveiled in Allapur
The installation ceremony of the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was held on Thursday in Allapur village of Pitlam mandal of Nizamabad district. Karan Maharaj, the head of Antargam Peetha, and Hanmant Shinde, former MLA of Jukkal, participated as the chief guests in the program. The statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji was unveiled by Karan Gajendra Bharati Maharaj. Speaking on the occasion, Karan Maharaj said that Shivaji’s life, his religious struggles and the battles he waged for the freedom of the people are inspiring.
He called on today’s youth to take inspiration from the life of Shivaji, who ruled with righteousness, justice and self-respect. Former Jukkal MLA Hanmant Shinde said that everyone should emulate the courage, leadership and love for the people shown by Shivaji in their lives. He said that such statue installation programs of great personalities will serve as a guide for future generations.
