Chhaava Movie: Rashmika’s film in controversy… warning not to release it

Mumbai: Pushpa Bhama Rashmika Mandanna is coming in front of the audience with the film Chava these days. In this film, she has worked with Vicky Kaushal. This film is based on the life of Maratha king Chhatrapati Shambhaji Maharaj. Recently the makers also released the trailer of Chava. However, this film has created controversy even before its release. Let’s know what is that controversy.
Maharashtra minister Uday Samant has expressed his anger over the film Chava. He has strongly objected to a dance scene in the film. He made it clear that the film will not be allowed to release until that scene is removed. The minister said in a statement that such efforts are necessary to explain the history of Chhatrapati to the world. However, many people have expressed their opinion that there are objectionable scenes in the film.
Meanwhile.. the minister got angry when Vicky Kaushal was shown dancing in the role of Chhatrapati Shambhaji Maharaj in the film. He said that the director should cut that scene and show the film to historians and intellectuals as well. He made it clear that if they raised any objections, the film will not be released. Samant called upon the makers of the film to consult historians and remove any controversial content before the release. He warned that if the changes suggested by us are not made, the film’s release will be stopped. He said that they will not tolerate any act that tarnishes the honour of the Maharaj. Meanwhile, this period film directed by Laxman Utekar will hit the theatres on February 14. Chava director Laxman Utekar has revealed that the scenes in which Sambhaji Maharaj dances with Maharani Yesubai are being removed. The decision was taken after a meeting with MNS chief Raj Thackeray. Utekar said that it is just a dance sequence and nothing is more important than the legacy of the Maratha king.
