According to this, the price of one liter of petrol in the city on Friday is Rs 101.23 and the price of one liter of diesel is Rs 92.81. Oil companies use the current crude oil price in the global market and the value of the Indian rupee against the US dollar as the primary variables to decide the price of petrol and diesel.
