Chandigarh: Two people become victims of online fraud
Chandigarh: Dinesh Kumar of Sector 38 has complained that he has been duped of Rs 54.80 lakh in an online fraud related to investments. Ravi Kumar, a resident of Sector 15, has alleged that an unknown person has duped him of Rs 25.32 lakh. Separate cases have been registered at the Cyber Crime Police Station. TNS

Liver health camp tomorrow
Mohali: On the eve of World Hepatitis Day, Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences will organise a liver health camp on July 27 at 9 am at the institute’s OPD premises. Institute director Virendra Singh said services such as fibroscan, hepatitis B and C screening, abdominal ultrasound and hepatology consultation will be provided at the camp. The institute will also organise a walkathon at Sukhna Lake on July 28 at 6 am to raise awareness about hepatitis, its prevention and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
