Chandigarh: Three arrested for firing at SUV

Chandigarh: The UT police today arrested one of the assailants involved in the firing incident on an SUV on the Dadu Majra-Dhanas road, while the remaining two suspects were arrested by the Punjab police in Amritsar. Four pistols were seized from them. Complainant Gurjeet Singh was returning home on September 2 when the assailants intercepted his SUV and opened fire. According to police, cab driver Gurvinder Singh (24) has been arrested. He was driving the car with the other two suspects. The vehicle used in the crime has also been seized. A team of the UT police’s district crime branch is searching for the two suspects, police said.
