Chandigarh: Snatchers target two residents

Chandigarh: Two incidents of snatching were reported in the city. The snatchers snatched a woman’s purse and another victim’s mobile phone. A woman from Mani Majra said that a passerby snatched her purse near Sector 19 market. The purse contained Rs 2,000 and documents. The police have registered a case at Sector 19 police station. Footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area is being scanned to identify the accused. In another incident, Burail resident Amrish Kumar said that three snatchers on a motorcycle snatched his mobile phone in Sector 32. A case has been registered at Sector 34 police station.
