Chandigarh: Councillor led the tree plantation drive

Chandigarh: Councillor Gurpreet Singh Gabi kicked off a plantation drive by planting over 200 saplings at a green belt in Sector 46. Gabi stressed that tree plantation is a must for environmental protection. He expressed concern over “our addiction to technology, which harms us and takes us away from nature”. “If we really want to survive and lead a good life, we must plant as many trees as possible,” he said.
