Chandigarh: Ananya shines in weightlifting competition

Chandigarh: Local weightlifter Ananya continued her stellar performance by winning gold and silver medals in the youth and junior categories respectively during the Chandigarh State Weightlifting Championship at Sector 42 Sports Complex.
She lifted a total of 162 kg (75 kg in snatch and 87 kg in clean and jerk). Ananya also won a gold medal in the recently held Interschool Weightlifting Championship at International Public School, Kurali. She lifted a total of 110 kg.
