Chances of rain in Tamil Nadu till April 21

Tamil Nadu: Maximum temperatures exceeded 105.8 degrees Fahrenheit at 13 locations in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday. However, the Chennai Meteorological Department stated that rainfall is expected in the Delta, Western Highlands districts, and coastal areas until April 21st.
A press release issued by the Meteorological Department on Wednesday stated: A low-pressure area extends from Southeast Madhya Pradesh to the Gulf of Mannar, across Vidarbha, Marathwada, North Interior Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu. Consequently, isolated light rain is expected in the Western Highlands districts, coastal areas of the Delta districts, Ramanathapuram district, and Karaikal areas until April 21st. On Thursday, Chennai and Puducherry will experience partly cloudy skies. Maximum temperatures will remain slightly higher in some interior Tamil Nadu districts until April 19th.
Record heat in 13 places: The highest temperature in Tamil Nadu on Wednesday was recorded at Paramathi Vellore at 105.8 degrees Fahrenheit. Vellore-104.72, Madurai Airport-104.36, Trichy-104.18, Erode-104, Namakkal-103.46, Salem, Madurai City-102.92 each, Dharmapuri, Tirupattur-102.2 each, Coimbatore-101.48, Palayankottai-101.12, Tiruttani-100.58 degrees Fahrenheit.
